Economic Outlook:
The global economic outlook is showing signs of improvement, with cautious optimism for the coming years. The United States, although experiencing slower GDP growth due to tight monetary and financial conditions, has successfully overcome the recession threat. In the Euro area, easing headline inflation is contributing to increased real incomes and economic activity.
China is expected to witness substantial GDP growth as the pandemic threat diminishes, and the government revises its zero-COVID policy. India remains on track to become a trillion-dollar economy by 2030, surpassing Japan and Germany.
However, challenges persist, including uncertainty surrounding the war in Ukraine, slower-than-expected global inflation decline, and ongoing food and fuel inflation in developing nations. High retail inflation continues to impact consumer confidence and spending.
Governments are addressing these challenges, which is boosting market sentiments. As governments work to combat inflation by raising interest rates, new job creation may slow down and impact economic activity. The regulatory landscape is evolving, with increasing pressure to incorporate climate change considerations into economic decisions.
Despite potential challenges to corporate investments due to inflation concerns and weaker demand, the rise of new technologies offers opportunities. Technologies such as generative AI, applied AI, machine learning, next-generation software development, Web3, cloud and edge computing, quantum technologies, electrification, renewables, and climate technologies beyond electrification and renewables have the potential to drive substantial incremental growth and value to global GDP in the coming years.
In this mixed economic environment, businesses that exhibit resilience and adaptability will find opportunities amid challenges, positioning themselves for future success.

Fiberglass Market 2023-2027: Segmentation
The composites segment is estimated to witness significant growth during the forecast period. Heterogeneous composites are crafted by assembling two or more components that include fillers or reinforcing fibers within a compactable matrix. The matrix material can originate from various sources, including polymers, metals, or ceramics. In these composites, the reinforcing fibers shoulder the majority of the structural load, contributing essential properties such as shape retention, surface appearance, environmental resilience, and overall durability. This, in turn, results in increased macroscopic stiffness and strength. Composite materials offer a unique advantage by combining the most desirable characteristics of their individual components while mitigating their less desirable traits. In the automotive sector, reinforced plastics (FRP) composites are increasingly adopted to enhance fuel efficiency and reduce carbon dioxide emissions. Consequently, these factors are anticipated to drive the growth of the FRP composite segment, thereby fostering overall market growth during the forecast period.
APAC is estimated to contribute 36% to the growth of the global market during the forecast period. The robust growth of the global fiberglass market in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region is notably driven by the widespread adoption of fiberglass in various key industries, including construction, automotive, electronics, and electrical sectors. Moreover, factors such as an increase in per capita income have led to a surge in construction activities, further bolstering the demand for fiberglass in the region. Among the standout contributors to the growth of the global fiberglass market in APAC are countries like China, India, and Japan. For instance, in China, rapid industrialization has spurred infrastructural developments, creating a significant demand for fiberglass in the region. These collective factors are poised to drive substantial market growth in the APAC region throughout the forecast period.

PARIS, Oct. 4, 2023 /PRNewswire/ — BodyCAP, a French MedTech company, has taken another step forward with the approval of its “eCelsius Medical System” connected medical device by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA). This thermometer, integrated into a capsule that is simply swallowed, enables a continuous and accurate measurement of core body temperature throughout the gastrointestinal transit until it is expelled. Already widely adopted in the sports and military sectors, the eCelsius Medical System connected medical device will now be available in the United States for medical use to measure core body temperature in patients for diagnostic or therapeutic purposes (clinical research, infectiology, oncology, internal medicine).
A marker of infection, hyper- or hypothermia, core body temperature is an essential indicator in diagnosing a patient’s state of health. Continuous, accurate measurement of this parameter is vital for the medical monitoring of patients in critical situations. However, until now, only a few restrictive devices, such as rectal or oesophageal probes, have been able to combine accurate and continuous monitoring of core temperature. To meet this need, French MedTech BodyCAP, based in Caen (Calvados), has developed the eCelsius Medical System, a Class II medical device that makes it possible to take this measurement to be taken in real time using a small, miniaturised electronic capsule – less than 2 cm long – that can be swallowed.
This condensed technology bundle communicates in real time at a frequency of 30 seconds with a dedicated monitor, the Medical eViewer, which records data autonomously and triggers alerts if thresholds are exceeded. Temperature accuracy is ±0.1°C for the human physiological range of 36-41°C and the communication protocol guarantees data security.
BodyCAP is a company that designs, develops, and markets wireless and miniaturised physiological measurement solutions. Founded in 2011, BodyCAP has developed expertise in ultra-miniaturised systems, embedded software and wireless communication. In particular, BodyCAP markets eCelsius Performance, a communicating electronic capsule dedicated to gastrointestinal core temperature measurement. BodyCAP operates in the sports, military, professional, clinical, and medical sectors.https://www.bodycap-medical.com
