The new 28,000 square-foot Albuquerque cinema will be completely overhauled to current Flix Brewhouse standards, including 100% luxury electric recliners, crystal-clear all-laser projection and Dolby immersive sound. Leased from Hinkle Income Properties, the 700-seat Flix Brewhouse dine-in cinema brewery replaces a Regal/UA arthouse.

La asociación se anunció en la 5ª Conferencia Internacional “Asyl Miras. Autismo. Un mundo para todos” de la Bulat Utemuratov Foundation en Astana, Kazajstán. El tema de este año es “Diagnóstico e Intervención Temprana en TEA”, una de las áreas que cubrirá el trabajo con la Dra. Kasari. A la conferencia asistieron expertos en TEA de renombre mundial que discutieron los últimos avances en el diagnóstico temprano del autismo, con seminarios prácticos para profesores, estudiantes y padres sobre niños con TEA.
El reconocimiento de la importancia del diagnóstico temprano y la intervención para el TEA está creciendo, lo que demuestra claros beneficios de la efectividad del tratamiento y la mejora de la calidad de vida de los niños y sus familias. La Fundación trabajará con la Dra. Kasari para ofrecer formación a los especialistas y al Formador de Formadores (“TOT”) de la Fundación, para capacitar a la próxima generación de expertos.
Más allá de esto, la Fundación y Connie Kasari desarrollarán conjuntamente un plan de formación para especialistas de todo Kazajstán, incluida la creación de diferentes niveles de certificación y mecanismos para evaluar y apoyar la formación. El programa de formación se basará en el enfoque de tratamiento de Atención Conjunta, Juego Simbólico, Compromiso y Regulación (“JASPER”), del que fue pionera la Dra. Kasari.
La metodología JASPER ya se utiliza en los 12 centros de autismo Asyl Miras de la Fundación en todo Kazajstán. Más de 15.000 niños han recibido tratamiento en los centros desde 2015, y la Fundación ha invertido 12,5 millones de dólares en este proyecto.
