I’m the bad guy. I’m the bad guy for becoming a morning person, which is exhausting and productive.

I wake up before the dogs. They would be more excited if they knew about coffee.

Three important things to know about dogs

  1. Don’t shake them
  2. Not dish washer safe
  3. Should not feed them chocolate
  4. Don’t let dogs drink coffee

One is for babies, or dogs, I don’t remember.

Every morning for the past 5 weeks I’ve been waking up before 6:30 AM. My goal is to convert from night owl, to a morning owl.

I wake up my son and my wife with an alarm, to become the kind of person that I do not think I am.

Becoming a morning owl.

Drinking coffee. Haven’t made a big mess in a few months too. (Typically I spill my coffee in my keyboard)

Become the morning owl.

I do not think I’m a morning person and feel mostly awake at 10:00 PM, that’s until I started having a more productive morning.

Have you ever thought you are awake at night?

Ever thought you have better ideas late at night? Maybe feeling more awake? That fades as you age. Sorry.

That late night stuff doesn’t cut it when you have a child. It’s better to wake up in the early AM and get to crushing.

Getting to bed early is important to scale a company like Dev3lop.

Exhausting my brain is my first step to converting. Exercise is equally as important as exhausting my brain.

Without a quiet mind, how do you sleep?

Converting from a night owl to a morning person, good grief now there’s a blog title.

By the time the sun goes down, if I’m not mentally exhausted, chances are I’m staying up past midnight.

Coffee isn’t that bad and it tastes badass. Coffee is a great step to building this new routine and activating my brain earlier in the day to ensure at nighttime, I’m tired.

Every morning my wife has maintained the coffee levels but getting up this early, before the baby, before my wife, before the dogs, and before the coffee…

Requires an updated morning pattern. That’s okay, I just need a reason to jump out of bed.

So, I built the ‘blockbuster feeling’ out of my coffee ritual.

I bought a new coffee mug.
